Welcome to The Traveler

Welcome to the March issue of The Traveler-

Spring is here and we at The Traveler are keenly aware that we are amidst uncertain times, especially when considering leisure or adventure travel. In times like these it's important to remember that it is possible, even vital, to explore the natural wonders of this world with awe, and encounter other people and cultures with acceptance and an open heart. Not to deny the ills and evil in the word, but neither to deny the wonder and promise that is before us everyday.

The Traveler welcomes the coming of Spring - new life and new beginnings - and hopes that through peaceful exploration and interaction, the promise and hope of peace may come just a little bit closer.

Onto the fun stuff! In this issue we'll take you to some of the best romantic room views in one of the most romantic spots on earth - Hawaii!

Then escape to the wilderness - the urban wilderness that is, with a rundown on some of the best urban trails in Arizona.

Next, visit the Rainbow of the Caribbean - St. Kitts.

These feature articles plus our travel writing Pick-of-the-Month, featured travel ideas and resources for March, and What's New at TouristTravel.com

Travel Writing Pick-Of-The-Month

A slight departure from the usual travel literature we feature at The Traveler but a departure well worth it. Learn of a quiet life on the Left Bank of Paris, the wonders of the piano, and the passion of those that care for them. The Piano Shop on the Left Bank.

Credo of the Peaceful Traveler

Grateful for the opportunity to travel and experience the world and because peace begins with the individual, I affirm my personal responsibility and commitment to:

Journey with an open mind and gentle heart

Accept with grace and gratitude the diversity I encounter

Revere and protect the natural environment which sustains all life

Appreciate all cultures I discover

Respect and thank my hosts for their welcome

Offer my hand in friendship to everyone I meet

Support travel services that share these views and act upon them and,

By my spirit, words and actions, encourage others to travel the world in peace
