Welcome to the March issue of The Traveler

Spring is here, and so is autumn, depending on where you hang your hat. Soon The Traveler will be on spring break, heading south from The Traveler's San Francisco offices to Palm Springs and Joshua Tree National Park in hopes of some excellent hiking and photography.

We'd like to thank everyone that took the time to fill out our reader's survey. We're still analyzing all your great answers to our questions and using that information to help plan The Traveler's future. We appreciate everyone's support of our efforts, The Traveler wouldn't be here if it weren't for all our great readers. That's you, so thanks!

And if you haven't filled out the reader's survey yet? That's okay, there's still time! If you haven't yet taken a few minutes to let us know what you think, we'd really appreciate any input you could give, and we'll keep giving one dollar to the Wildlife Conservation Society to help save the African elephant for each response we get.

Let's get down to business! This issue we've got three new feature articles. We start in the North Sea, with a look at the Isle of Man from veteran writer and photographer Cindy-Lou Dale; next we head to Thailand for a magical afternoon in the land of the spa; and then back 'round the world to Antigua while our old friend Kathryn Lemmon checks out the Jolly Roger Resort.

After that is the travel writing pick-of-the-month for March. Another anthology of travel writing from funny women, the kind that make you laugh, guffaw, and generally have a great time.

And to top it off, as usual, we have this month's roundup of travel ideas, bargains, and resources.
