Fall Getaways and a Salute to Freelance Travel Writers...

Welcome to The Traveler! Fall is fast approaching and this month we’ll take a look at some great ideas for Fall getaways... Here at The Traveler, we’ve always found October a great month to take one last trip before the hustle and bustle of the holidays. We’ll explore some possibilities for your own autumn adventure...

As we talked about last month, The Traveler has published every month for just over a year now (and we apologize for being a little late with this issue)... We know that there is an abundance of travel newsletters out there for you to choose from... That’s why our focus has not only been toward fun travel ideas and resources, but also toward travel stories and destination articles that you’ll find nowhere else but The Traveler!

We take pride in bringing fresh, unique content from new and upcoming writers from all over the world. And this month we’d like to dedicate this issue to those that have helped The Traveler educate and entertain us with stories and information from across the globe.

We salute all our dedicated and talented freelance travel writers!

In This Issue:

Feature articles from our regular network of contributing freelance writers and, in honor of the recent volcanic activity on the Big Island of Hawaii, we’ll republish the very first article featured in The Traveler – “Volcano House”. We look forward to many new writers - and some pretty established writers as well - in coming issues of The Traveler
